Summary

I have been actively working as an Information Technology professional for over 20 years. My areas of expertise include project management, business analysis, systems analysis, data architecture (data modeling, database administration), meta data, agile systems development and data warehousing/business intelligence. State of Wisconsin, Madison WI USA                                                05/2002 to present

·         Responsible for transition of health insurance systems towards HIPAA compliance.

·         Responsible for the management, design, development and implementation of the Full File Compare (FFC) Project.  Data quality improved to being the source of record and thousands of dollars were recovered in the prevention of fraudulent claims. 

·         Responsible for the management, design, development and implementation of the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) automated process. This process carved out the pharmacy benefits from all of the health plans and was placed into one entity which provides large volume savings to state employees and taxpayers.

·         Responsible for the management, design, development and implementation of the Wisconsin Public Employers (WPE) Project that added health insurance program options and improved the health insurance premium reporting & accounting process.

·         Currently managing and designing the conversion of the manual eligibility process to an automated electronic process estimated to save millions of dollars due to elimination of paper trail and in elimination of multiple data entry.

·         Currently designing and implementing a long range health insurance vision that incorporates the HIPAA initiative as well as providing immediate EDI, data quality and process improvement solutions.
